Dr Ronda Greaves is the Senior Lecturer in Clinical Biochemistry at RMIT University and an Honorary Research Fellow at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute in Melbourne Australia. Ronda’s training and continued research interest is in paediatric clinical biochemistry. Ronda has received two scholarships to undertake training in paediatric steroid analysis at the Children’s Hospital (Kinderspital) in Zurich Switzerland and has received training at Sahlgrenska Hospital in Gothenburg Sweden. Ronda completed her PhD on “Current Challenges in the Interpretation of Clinical Biochemistry Test Results”. In addition, Ronda is active as a technical adviser to the biochemistry department at the National Hospital of Pediatrics in Ha Noi Viet Nam, and contributes to scientific output through peer reviewed publications, referee of manuscripts, and membership of the editorial board for the journal Clinical Biochemistry. She is a Member of the AACB and a Founding Fellow of the RCPA’s Faculty of Science. Ronda currently chairs the AACB Vitamins Working Party and the Mas Spectrometry Harmonisation Working Group and is a member of the International Federation of Clinical Chemistry’s Committee for Distance Learning, where she is coordinating the development of mass spectrometry distance learning material.
