It is our great pleasure to invite you to the very first Virtual Symposium on Applied Separation Science being held on May 25th-29th 2015 online. In a first, all posters, courses, workshops, and sessions will be held completely online. No travel, visas, hotel bookings, or other logistical challenges will prevent you from joining. That is unless your internet drops out!
VSASS would like to acknowledge the below sponsors for their support in making the 2015 symposium possible. We kindly ask you to pay them a visit and let them know you appreciate their support in separation science community.

The important elements that come together to make for advancement of science.

Talks are what fuel both learning and inspire ideas and lead to networking. VSASS would like to thank and acknowledge all speakers for their investment in time and sharing of experience to the greater separation science community.
Posters are an easy way for even the most introverted scientist to share their work to the world. VSASS aims to evolve this to a new virtual level. Posters will not be constrained by just printed media. Be inspired to add video, audio and other medias to your poster. VSASS is in great debt to the assistant and support of the leading intellectual giants in the field of separation science. We would like to send a very special thank you for their countless hours of support and assistance in making the event in every aspect peer reviewed.
Industry partners bring a balance to the symposium and can be seen as one of the key supports for the "applied" aspect. Their involvement in focusing theoretical discussions into application is what often leads to improvements for humanity.
Networking was one of the most challenging elements to find a technological solution. How often it is the social events that lead to life long connections! Unfortunately there is no "virtual" drink that can replicate what can be experienced in real life. A forum system has been developed to promote networking and we would like to encourage everyone to give it a go. We do ask you to be responsible, so no Foruming and Driving please.
We would like to thank the session chairs and speakers for making this symposium possible.
